11/9/24 11:14 AM I ordered the pancake sandwich, which came with nothing on it (kind of misleading) but my server Amber explained that it’s just what it is on the menu. Overall great service from Amber, and the male host was kind as well. (He greeted me with a smile and seated me right away). There are a few girls in the kitchen who were not really doing much. I asked one of them for a bag and box, but she never came back. It turned out being Amber who helped me the whole time! Thank you, Amber! :) I ordered whipped cream, strawberries, and bananas to add on to my “sandwich”. Love this place!

Quality restaurant and great service. Food is freshly made with homemade items and large portion sizes. Extremely friendly staff, food arrived quickly. Couldn’t leave without getting one of the huge cinnamon rolls to go. Next time we are on I-5 heading southbound we will definitely make the stop at County Kitchen.

We love it so much we ended up coming here two days in the row! :) Very affordable and delicious breakfast. Staff is friendly and professional. Will definitely be back when we’re in Redding again.

I just had the BEST Cobb Salad ever! I wished I would have taken a picture of it. It had an even amount of tomatoes, blue cheese, chicken, bacon, and avocado. Along with romaine lettuce and Blue Cheese dressing, of course. 5 out of 5 stars, if there were a way to give it 10 stars I would have. :-)

This place was great! Very good sized portions and tasty. The toast we had was also made in house and very good. The atmosphere was pleasant, the wait staff friendly, and the prices were reasonable. I would eat here again. My kids were full and satisfied. The youngest got to pick his character for his pancake (An ice cream cone). They also accommodated substitutions, as we are vegetarian.

I cant believe I never came here sooner, food was good, prices were good, and staff was amazing! I will definitely be coming back :) I really liked their french toast, and they have a massive selection of fruits to try!

We had breakfast here as we were passing through Redding. Ordered a Denver omelette with hash browns and coffee. The omelette was tasty with a healthy amount of ham. The has browns were cooked well and crispy not soggy. Just the way we like them. The coffee was good. You have your choice of either a lighter roast coffee or a darker roast. We got the lighter roast coffee and it was good. The service was spot on and very friendly.

Ordered the chicken fried steak, pancake breakfast, two kids pancake breakfasts, and an omelette and the food was absolutely phenomenal. The restaurant itself was so clean and the furniture was really nice. The atmosphere was amazing. The food quality was out of this world! Honestly, I think I found my family and I's new Cafe breakfast area. I was talking to my wife and told her I'm excited to come back and try their burgers and other stuff. When I was checking out the person who was checking me out was not my waitress and she was asking me. Was everything okay? How did it taste? You could tell that she was actually asking and when I told her that this is our new favorite place, she was extremely excited. I am definitely recommending the Country Kitchen to all of my friends.
